Helping Students and Parents Navigate Through Uncertain Times in Education

Relational, small group and individualized learning is our approach.

Weekly In Person Instruction

We meet in small groups of 5 or less twice weekly. Due to the small student-to-teacher ratio we can accomplish much more than an entire week in a typical classroom setting.

Individualized Curriculum

Since we meet in such small groups, we are able to individualize lessons for students based on their academic needs.

OUR APPROACH

We will meet at Learning Enhancement Center for small group instruction following the scope and sequence requirements for your child’s grade. Your students may stay enrolled in online learning through the district. Our teaching will be the student’s core instruction for reading, writing and mathematics. We will bring an individualized approach to all assigned lessons while creating the structure and student/teacher relationship required for continued success.

WEEKLY IN-PERSON INSTRUCTION

Due to the small teacher to student ratio, we will be able to accomplish much more curriculum than in an entire week in the typical classroom. Having a set day and time will allow for routines to be put in place and stay on track with our learning. We will be able to build and create relationships just as we would in the classroom. We believe in the importance of positive and meaningful interactions with one another. As the owner of LEC for almost 20 years, I recognize the need for consistency and planning without disruptions.

INDIVIDUALIZED CURRICULUM

Research shows that small groups and one on one conferring is the most effective way to help a child reach their academic goals. Individual assessments will be given to establish your child’s needs. I believe that while technology serves a purpose and is helpful in learning, it should not be the main resource to receive an education. This is especially important for our youngest learners. I believe that face to face learning will make the biggest impact.
